FounderOS Release Notes — August 2026

release-notesproduct

We don't ship a separate changelog nobody reads — this blog is where we tell you what's live. Here's the full state of FounderOS today: what you get the moment you connect your first product, no beta flags or "coming soon" asterisks.

Today: one page for every product you run

The portfolio-wide Today page is the home screen. It rolls up status, MRR, uptime, and a 24-hour cross-product timeline into one view — so checking on a portfolio of products doesn't mean opening six browser tabs and mentally merging what you see. If something changed anywhere in your portfolio in the last day, Today is where it shows up first.

Inbox: ranked causes, not a list of alerts

Every alert opens into a full incident window instead of a bare title and timestamp: the metric zoomed to the minutes around the spike, ranked correlated events (deploys, errors, other signals) sorted by how likely each one is to be the cause, and the evidence chips behind that ranking. Resolve clears it with a one-click Undo if you're wrong. We wrote more about why we built it this way in The Inbox is the product.

P&L: real margin, per product and blended

Revenue, infra cost, and AI spend roll up automatically from whatever you've connected — Stripe for revenue, Vercel and Cloudflare for infra, OpenAI and Anthropic for AI spend — into a P&L view per product and blended across your whole portfolio. No spreadsheet to keep in sync by hand, and no plausible-looking placeholder numbers standing in for a connection you haven't made yet.

Widgets: a 17-widget catalog you control

Every project gets its own widget grid you drag, reorder, and add to from a 17-widget catalog spanning Stripe, GitHub, Sentry, Supabase, and the rest of what you connect. A two-person SaaS and a solo mobile app don't care about the same numbers, so the grid is per-project, not a fixed layout everyone gets stuck with.

Connections: credentials, not OAuth theater

Every integration connects with an API key or personal access token, not an OAuth app you have to register — the whole flow is a paste and a click, covered in Connect your first product in three minutes. Every credential is AES-256-GCM encrypted before it's written to the database and decrypted only inside server-only route handlers. FounderOS currently connects to 25 services and counting — Stripe, Vercel, Supabase, Sentry, GitHub, Anthropic, OpenAI, PostHog, Cloudflare, Resend, Slack, App Store Connect, Google Play, Google Analytics, Search Console, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, and Gumroad among them.

Built for the keyboard

⌘K jumps to any product, page, or open alert from anywhere in the app. Sequence shortcuts — g t for Today, g i for Inbox, g m for MRR — get you to the page you check ten times a day without reaching for the mouse.

Plans

Two plans, no seat games:

What's next

This is the baseline, not the ceiling — the Inbox's ranking model, the widget catalog, and the list of connectable services all keep growing. Future release notes will land right here as new features ship, which is why the footer's Changelog link points at the blog instead of a separate page nobody checks. If you haven't connected a product yet, get started — it takes about three minutes.
